World Robot League 2027 is held together with RoboRAVE Korea Open 2027 — one festival, two leagues, open to elementary, middle and high school students and general participants.

Two leagues run side by side: World Robot League (4 events, 15 divisions) and RoboRAVE Korea Open (4 events, 13 divisions).
Bipedal humanoid robots duel in the ring across five weight classes. Knockdowns and ring-outs decide the champion.
A new event — humanoid robots form a team and solve missions together. Open to everyone, with no restriction on age or nationality.
Flip two-color mission blocks to your own color — a strategic robot-control battle. Four divisions: Othello Jr/Sr, plus AI Othello Jr/Sr solving problems with an AI camera.
Robot soccer across three formats, divided by platform and robot specifications. Follows the Maker Robotics Challenge (Thailand) rules.
Robots follow the line autonomously and complete missions to the goal — scored on completion and accuracy.
Waste sorting and recycling — robots sort coloured blocks into zones matching the signal light colours.
Radio-controlled robot soccer — two robots per team in the 800 g class, played in two 90-second halves.
Top-performing participants advance to the MRC Maker Robot Challenge held in Bangkok, Thailand in May 2027. Next year's MRC will feature a significantly strengthened humanoid category.
Participants with outstanding results in the RoboRAVE events earn the qualification to compete at the RoboRAVE World Championship held in Houston, USA in November.

Sub event — A premier event for the Junior Botball Challenge is held alongside the competition (participants of Korean nationality, lower elementary grades). It serves to recruit and select the Korean national team for the Junior Botball Challenge held in Beijing, China in July.

The official Korean operator of RoboRAVE, an international competition joined by some 6,000 teams from 60 countries. RoboRAVE Korea runs the Korea Open and selects the national teams for the world stage.
